Our Wonderful World

Through our assemblies at Townville Academy we aim to open our minds to the wonderful diverse world in which we live and how we will grow and develop so that we may make meaningful contributions to the world.  Our assemblies support and enhance our pupils' curriculum journey.

We are ACE.

Throughout the year we reflect on our learning goals of 

• Aspiration: The setting of goals and developing an understanding of how to achieve them.
• Collaboration: The strength of being able to work together, particularly ensuring we are able to articulate ourselves clearly and listen to understand.
• Exploration: Developing our interest in the world around us and asking questions.

We do this through inspiring stories, thoughtful discussions, and real-life examples, including welcoming visiting speakers to share their journeys and achievements.

Through these assemblies, we help our children develop strong learning and characteristic traits such as respect, kindness and perseverance, demonstrating what they look like in action and how they can use them every day, both in school and beyond.
