Onsite Childcare - breakfast club, after-school club and 30 hours for part-time pupils

Childcare Provision at Townville Academy

We run an on-site breakfast club every day which starts at 7.30am. Children are provided with breakfast at the club. We also run a wraparound childcare service run by our own staff on the site. This runs from 3.15p.m. to 6:00pm.

Parents have the option of booking a shorter session if this is more suitable. Sessions for breakfast club and wraparound can be taken regularly or as needed to suit our parent and carer’s requirements and can be booked online through the School Gateway app. Please visit our office for more details.

Past Pupils - Townville Basecamp

We are thrilled to be able to continue to support families of pupils who have left us and moved on to Key Stage 2 at Airedale Junior School through our 'Basecamp' wraparound offer.

Nursery Pupils

Nursery age pupils are able to attend using the 15-hour universal entitlement or may be eligible for 30 hours depending on circumstances. 30-hour places are available from 8.35am-2.35pm. The places are subject to availability, as we have a limited number of places. Parents who are not eligible for a 30-hour place have the opportunity to self-fund this if they wish.  We also offer parents the opportunity to purchase the additional session between 2.35pm and 3.15pm so that their nursery child finishes in line with older siblings.

Childcare in School Holidays

If you need childcare during the school holidays, there are also holiday clubs operating in our local area, we regularly share these details with parents before holiday periods.  The Families Information Service have contact details available for these too.
